Fessenden, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Hurdsfield, ND man has been charged with two felonies for sexually assaulting two teenage girls in separate incidents in central N.D.

21 year old Alexander Matson is accused of raping a 13 year old girl in Wells County in October of 2018. The victim told police that she snuck out of her house on the night of Oct. 14th to meet Matson.  She said Matson then took her down a gravel road between Fessenden and Harvey and stopped. That’s when he climbed on top of her and she was raped. The victim says she told Matson multiple times to stop. She also stated that Matson had threatened to send people after her if she told anyone.

Then on January 15th of 2019, a 16-year-old girl told authorities that she had been raped by Matson east of Harvey.  The Victim told police Matson asked to have sex with her and she declined.  The victim said Matson then threatened to leave her on the country road if she did not comply.  The temperature outside was 15 degrees below zero at the time, according to authorities.

Matson has been in trouble with the law before.  In 2016 he pleaded guilty to similar charges after forcing a different 13 year old girl to have sex with him.  At that time he was charged with felony Gross Sexual Imposition and felony Corruption of a Minor.

In 2016, Matson was ordered to register as a sex offender until 2032.

Matson’s next court appearance is on Wednesday.
