VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Barnes County Homemakers of Today granted two scholarships for college education to Shannon Bryn and Ian Nelson. Shannon is a recent graduate of Barnes County North School and Ian is a recent graduate of Valley City Public Schools.
Bryn and Nelson have excelled in academics according to their GPA and have been involved with numerous activities including being active in 4-H.
They are grandchildren of Barnes County Homemakers. Shannon and Ian received $200 to be applied to a college of their choice.
The Barnes County Homemakers of Today is a volunteer organization that works to improve the quality of life for families and communities through leadership, education, and camaraderie in cooperation with NDSU Extension/Barnes County.
