LISBON, N.D. (Newsdakota.com) – Enderlin scored six runs in the top of the eighth inning to come away with a 7-1 win over Lisbon in Legion Baseball Monday night in Lisbon.

Brandon Utke’s two-run double was the big blow and it gave the Railcats a 5-1 lead. Earlier in the inning, Garrett Hanson stole home on the front end of of double steal. Dakota Mark stole second on the back end. Mark then scored on Austin Glarum’s single before Utke’s two bagger scored Glarum and Jaden Pulkrabek.

Cameron Yantis had an rbi single and Colten Sorenson scored on a passed ball to end the scoring.

Enderlin sent the game to extra innings when Utke scored on Garrett Hanson’s single with two out in the top of the seventh inning.

Lisbon took a 1-0 lead in the fourth inning when Brady Aberle scored on a double play.

Garrett Hanson allowed just three hits and one unearned run over eight innings to get the win. He walked two and struck out six.

The Railcats have won three in a row and are 6-9 on the season. They will host the Fargo Bombers Wednesday night at Hendrickson Field.
