ENDERLIN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Enderlin and Hankinson/Campbell-Tintah/Fairmount combines to scored 15 runs in the last two innings but HCTF prevailed 14-8 over the Railcats Monday night at Hendrickson Field.

H/C-T/F scored three runs in the first to jump out to the early lead.

The Railcats would cut the lead to 3-2 with an rbi double by Ty Combs in the second and Garrett Hanson’s run scoring single in the third.

But Hankinson would regain a three run lead with single runs in the fourth and fifth.

Then the fireworks came when HCTF would score five times in the top of the sixth to open up a 10-2 lead. The big blow was Hayden Boll’s two run single. Boll drove in five runs in the game. Two runs scored on an error and another on a wild pitch.

But Enderlin would come back in the bottom half of the inning with a four run inning. Cameron Yantis had an rbi double in the inning. Jade Pulkrabek scored two with a double and Brandon Utke drove in Pulkrabek with a single to make it 10-6.

But Hayden Boll would strike again for the visitors with a three run home run in the top of the seventh to cap a four run inning and make it 14-6.

Ty Combs would steal home and Cameron Yantis would score on a passed ball for Enderlin to make the final 14-8.

Dillon Schreiner, Boll and Jaxson Mauch had two hits each for HCTF. Schreiner scored four runs.

Brandon Utke had three hits to lead the Railcats. Cameron Yantis and Ty Combs had two each. Yantis scored three runs and Jade Pulkrabek had two rbi.

Enderlin falls to 6-13 on the season and will travel to Ellendale on Wednesday.
