CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The 2019 District 4 Legion Baseball Tournament will open up at Carrington City Park on Wednesday, July 24th with four games on the schedule. The tourney runs Wednesday through Saturday and Sunday if necessary. Carrington Post 25 in the number one seed and will play the last game of the day against Washburn at 5:30pm. Post 25 has advanced to the State Class B tournament for the last five years in a row, 2014-18. They have won the region championship three years in a row and four out of the last five years, winning state championships in ’14, ’15 and ’16. This year the regions were realigned and went to seven districts instead of four regions and instead of the top two teams advancing to state, now only the champion will advance to state. The winner of the district four tourney will advance to the State Class B Legion tournament in Hazen running July 31st – August 4th.

1030am – No. 6 Harvey vs. No. 3 Cando

1245pm – No. 7 Wishek/Linton vs. No. 2 Sheyenne/New Rockford

3pm – No. 5 Rolla vs. No. 4 Kidder County

530pm – No. 8 Washburn vs. No. 1 Carrington
