MINOT, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Post 14 legion season came to an end in Minot during the West Region tournament following a 4-0 loss to the Bismarck Capitals. After entering as the tournament as the top-seed and only two regional losses, were the first team eliminated.

Bismarck got to Jamestown starter Aaron Kleven in the second inning for a run and after three walks to start the third, Preston Eagleson drilled a two-run double to push the score to 3-0. Kleven was lifted after the third following 73 pitches.

Capitals starter Matt Miller was dominate through three facing just one over the minimum, allowing only a Dawson Douty infield single to start the game. Jamestown finally put some traffic on the bases in both the fourth and fifth innings, but left the bags full.

Kohl Kratz relieved Kleven and allowed just one run over four innings while striking out seven.
