JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Anne Carlsen Center invited everyone from the public to their campus Thursday evening to celebrate the end of summer and going back to school.

The event, co-hosted by i3G Media, brought in hundreds of kids, adults, grandparents, and more to the campus to see different booths, play games, eat food, and just celebrate. Stephanie Nelson, Chief Operations Officer at Anne Carlsen Center, said it was a great sight to see all those who came to the 3rd annual event.

Kristin Syverson, Chief Financial Officer, said they couldn’t have asked for a better night.

Booths from the center’s many different departments were setup with fun games and activities for kids of all abilities. Dylan German helped man the booth for general education at the Anne Carlsen Center.

Another fun booth was a “kiddie car lot” where kids could choose a “car” of their choice and ride it through the Anne Carlsen Center’s nature trail. Connie Lillejord, Occupational Therapist.

Jamestown Inflatables brought some of their games, Laney’s Cool Treats brought their ice cream truck, the i3G Media Radio Rover played music and gave 75 free bags of back to school supplies for kids, Reister Meats & Catering provided food, and the University of Jamestown Men’s Basketball and Football teams also played games with the kids.
