MOORHEAD, MN (NewsDakota.com) – The East Region Cross Country Meet was run Tuesday in cold and extremely muddy conditions at Johnson Park in Moorhead.

The West Fargo Girls and the Fargo North Boys won the team titles.

Hope Pringle of West Fargo won the girls individual title winning the 5K in a time of 19 minutes 39.54 seconds. Caleb Yokum of Fargo North won the boys title with a time of 17:00.43.

Valley City placed two runners on the All-Conference list by finishing in the top 20.

Greta Goven and Reagan Berg finished in the top 20 to gain All-Conference honors.

The State Cross Country Meet will be on Saturday October 26th in Minot.
