CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A send-off event for Miss North Dakota Haley Wolfe will be held on Saturday, November 16th in Carrington.

Wolfe, a Carrington native, was crowned on June 15th in Williston, taking over the title from Katie Olson. Wolfe’s platform is #BeThe1To, which is a social movement for suicide prevention and awareness.

The send-off will be held from 2 to 4 PM at the Carrington Crossroads Golf Club. Guests can play bingo for prizes and a freewill offering will take place to raise funds to assist with Wolfe’s travel and competition expenses. Special guests include Miss North Dakota Outstanding Teen 2019 Kaylee Moss and emcee will be Carrington native and Miss North Dakota 2010 Katie Ralston.

Prior to being crowned Miss North Dakota 2019, Wolfe was Miss West-Fargo. She attends Minnesota State University in Moorhead, MN.

Wolfe will be traveling to Connecticut on December 11th to begin preliminary competition for the Miss America competition. She’ll compete with 51 other national candidates for scholarships and the title of Miss America 2020.

The final night will be televised on December 19th.
