JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Of the nearly 53,000 attendees of the showcases around the state, 2,450 attended the Jamestown Pride of Dakota Harvest and Holiday Showcase, an increase from last year.

The Pride of Dakota Showcase provides member companies an opportunity to market and demonstrate products and services to consumers. According to a press release from the North Dakota Department of Agriculture, the events in Dickinson, Fargo, Grand Forks, Bismarck, and Jamestown all posted record numbers, with Bismarck seeing the largest attendance with 14,850 shoppers.

“North Dakotans are very supportive of products made, manufactured, processed or produced in the state,” North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring said. “I encourage people to continue to support our state’s local businesses, not only during showcase season, but year-round.”

The events are administered by the North Dakota Department of Agriculture.
