JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Crews will begin moving the fresh layer of snow that recently fell in Jamestown.

The city reports that the Downtown district will begin snow removal operations Wednesday, January 15th at 11 PM. City ordinance states that a property owner must keep their sidewalk clear of ice and snow. You’re asked to not deposit any ice or snow on the city street, which will result in a class B misdemeanor and fine if violated.

The schedule is contingent on changing weather conditions and accumulation totals.
