DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The final day of the 2020 Class B District 7 boys basketball tournament was held on Monday with three games at the Devils Lake Sports Center, here are the results:

No. 4 Dakota Prairie 66  No. 7 Lakota 57 (Region 4 qualifier)

The Raiders jumped out early but the Knights tied the game at 12 and took the lead half way through the first quarter and never looked back leading 38-24 at halftime. DP had four players in double figures, leading the way was Senior Tyler Loe with 18 points, including two 3-pointers. Loe was hurt in the first quarter last Friday against Warwick and didn’t play the rest of the game and also sat out Saturday, he returned to the starting lineup Monday evening. Cade Stein and Jake Avdem had 14 points each and Parker Frederick added 12. Leading the way for the Raiders was Jon Haman with 19. Lakota ends their season at 10-12 overall.

No. 2 Benson County 65  No. 5 Warwick 50 (Region 4 qualifier)

No. 1 (#1 in state) Four Winds/Minnewaukan 60  No. 3 New Rockford/Sheyenne 45 (championship)

For the eighth year in a row, the Indians of Four Winds/Minnewaukan are the District 7 champs. FWM led 32-16 at halftime, NRS never led. JaeShaun Shaw led the way for the Indians with 17 points, Bronson Walter added 15 and Doug Yankton 11. Bo Belquist led the way for the Rockets with 17. FWM improves to 20-1 overall, NRS drops to 15-7 overall.
