DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The 2020 Class B Region 4 Boys Basketball Tournament will start on Monday, March 9th and continue the 10th and 12th and will have the top four teams from district seven compete against the top four teams from district eight. The first day will feature four single elimination games starting at 3pm with the number one team in the state, Four Winds/Minnewaukan taking on North Star. The Rockets of New Rockford/Sheyenne are the defending champs and will play the last game of the day, here is the first day schedule:
3pm – D7 champs (No. 1 in state) Four Winds-Minnewaukan (20-1) vs D8-4 seed North Star (8-14)
20 minutes after – D8-2 seed (No. 10 in state) Langdon Area/Edmore/Munich (16-5) vs D7-3 seed Benson County (16-5)
20 minutes after – D8 champs (No. 6 in state) St. John (18-3) vs D7-4 seed Dakota Prairie (14-8)
20 minutes after – D7-2 seed New Rockford-Sheyenne (15-7) vs D8-3 seed Dunseith (12-10) (KDAK)
KDAK the Cardinal AM 1600/FM 100.1 and newsdakota.com will cover the New Rockford/Sheyenne game on Monday about 7:30pm, and if they win, will cover them on Tuesday and Thursday as well.
