WEST FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Blue Jays Swimming and Diving team finished ninth at the Boys State Swimming and Diving Championships over the weekend which was held at the Hulbert Aquatic Center in West Fargo.

Junior Noah Haglund and senior Luca Flann led the contingency by reaching the finals in four events, two individual and two relays. Junior Garrett Wright was in one individual and two relays. Freshman Teddy Solensky was in one individual and one relay.

Individually, Haglund placed nine in the 200 yard freestyle, and third in the 100 yard backstroke. That third place finish also earned him first team All-State honors.

Individually, Luca Flann was 14th in the 50 Yard Freestyle and 13th in the 100 yard freestyle. Garrett Wright took 8th in the 100 yard butterfly, missing second team all-state by .43 seconds. Teddy Solensky was ninth in the 500 Yard Freestyle.

The relay teams took sixth in the 200 Yard Medley with a team of Noah Haglund, Bodi Haglund, Garrett Wright and Luca Flann. The 200 Yard Freestyle Relay team was sixth. Team members were Noah Haglund, Alex Goodie, Jarron Waldie and Luca Flann. The 400 Yard Freestyle Relay took 11th. Team members were Teddy Solensky, Jarron Waldie, Bodi Haglund and Garrett Wright.
