FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Following President Donald Trump’s declaration of a national emergency regarding the COVID-19 virus, the NDHSAA decided to follow suit with the rest of the country and suspended all activities indefinitely.

The Jamestown High boys basketball team was set to defend their title in the Class A semifinals against West Fargo Sheyenne, but that game will not be played tonight. Whether or not it will ever be played is unlikely, but the NDHSAA was careful not to use the word “cancellation” at this time.

If the season ends, Jamestown will end the year at 21-4 with a third straight trip to the state tournament. More will be added to this story if it becomes available.
