VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – There will be no classes held in school district’s across the state to help mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 virus in North Dakota.

The Valley City Public School District and St. Catherine’s Elementary School in Valley City are implementing measures to educate students online and limiting contact with others at this time.

Superintendent Josh Johnson had this update on the current situation for the week of March 23rd thru March 27th.

St. Catherine’s School Principal Joshua Gow said the school is following the recommendation from the Fargo Diocese concerning the school shutdown until further notice.

Valley City State University and the University of Jamestown have moved all class delivery online from now until the end of the 2020 Spring Semester.
