VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Effective immediately the door to the Barnes County Senior Center will be locked and people will have to call ahead to make an appointment to gain entrance.

People who are picking up meals should pull into the loading zone in front of the building and staff members will bring your meals out to your vehicle.

In addition to this change, the Senior Center wants people to know that they will pick up groceries and prescription medications and deliver them to your homes. Call 845-4300 for more details. Patrons will have to call in their order and pay for them first prior to delivery. If they are picking up a prescription they will need your date of birth. Patrons can give that to the Senior Center dispatcher when you call in your order.

Remember, anyone coming back to North Dakota from other states or countries should remain at home for at least 14 days.
