JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – With social distancing, more and more people are finding a bit more down time than normal.

Central Valley Health is encouraging anyone who may be doing research on COVID-19, or coronavirus, to make sure they’re getting their information from factual sources.

Central Valley Health Director of Health Promotion Shannon Kaiser says this is where “facts, not fear” come in.

There are even more credible sources beyond the CDC, North Dakota Department of Health or Central Valley Health. Kaiser just reminds everyone to remain vigilant in stopping the spread of fake information.

Locally, Kaiser says if residents of Jamestown or Stutsman County have questions or want the latest information, they can tune into their Facebook page or NewsDakota for their media briefings, which have typically been held on Tuesdays and Fridays at 2:30 PM.

You can like Central Valley Health’s Facebook page for the live videos and constant information here.
