“Park & Play” Program

COVID-19 Rules – Social Distancing

At this point, the CDC, ND State Health Department, and local authorities are allowing Golf Courses in North Dakota to operate with approved “social distancing” practices. It is called “Park & Play” program for a reason! They EXPECT people to go from your vehicle to course and back home with VERY LIMITED human interaction under the prescribed social distancing guidelines (6 Ft. Rule). This DOES NOT mean loitering/socializing and unnecessary gathering! Simply put, get your exercise, have some food & drink, enjoy the outdoors, go home & be safe.

If there were to be a single incident that was attributed to the sport of golf, it could be deemed “Non-essential” & shut down completely! Please take this very seriously & respect yourself & others to avoid any potential incident. At Valley City Town & Country Club will absolutely comply with all Federal/State mandates as the safety and well-being of our customers and staff is our main concern.

Please DO NOT go golfing if you are feeling any symptoms of sickness AT ALL! We reserve the right to remove anyone who is not following these regulations or may be demonstrating any symptoms of illness.

At this point, all activities are still going as planned. Our staff has been thoroughly trained on sanitation procedures, and we are all hard at work to keep equipment and other surfaces continually cleaned. Nothing is as important to us as the health of our guests, community, and staff members. We are paying close attention to national and local guidelines, and we’ll follow best practices recommended by public health officials.

We are committed to keeping you as safe and informed as possible. The great thing about golf is that it’s an excellent recreation for social distancing. We hope you’ll visit us for some fresh air, and the greatest form of stress management (golf!)

The “Park and Play” program is designed to give golfers confidence that they can drive to Valley City Town & Country Club, park their cars, get to and around the course, and back to the parking lot in as safe an environment as possible. I am urging each and every one of you to help us in providing a fun & safe setting for all!

We look forward to seeing you on the tee – Stay Safe & Be Well!

Thank you,

VCTCC Board

Please Note: These current policies are subject to change at any time!
