FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The ND Highway Patrol is investigating a one vehicle hit and run crash along I-29 in Fargo reported on June 2nd.

The patrol said a 2003 GMC Yukon was northbound on I-29 near exit 67 along 19th Avenue North at about 12:40 am. The GMC left the roadway, entered the median and struck the cable median barrier. After striking the object, the GMC came to rest on the northbound median shoulder, upright. The suspect fled the scene prior to law enforcement’s arrival. Police searched the area for the driver. It does not appear the driver was injured.

After the crash, the owner of the vehicle was contacted, and reported the vehicle had been stolen earlier in the night from an address in Fargo. The incident remains under investigation by the NDHP.
