CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Carrington Redbirds hosted Kidder County on Monday for an Independent and Babe Ruth League double header. In the Independent League and first game of the day, Kidder County beat Carrington by 10-run rule in five innings, 12-0. KC improves to 2-0 in District 4 and 2-1 overall, Carrington drops to 0-3 in District 4 and 0-4 overall.

In the Babe Ruth contest, Carrington came from behind and won 9-3. Carrington improves to 3-0 in District 6 and 4-2 overall, Steele suffers their first loss of the season and drops to 2-1 in District 6 and 3-1 overall.

Next up for Carrington Independent League team will be in Tolna on Tuesday, June 23rd against Nelson County, KDAK will have the game broadcast starting about 5:15pm pregame, 5:30pm first pitch. Next up for the Carrington Babe Ruth team will be on Wednesday, June 17th in Carrington against Lamoure for another District 6 game. KDAK will have the game starting about 4:45pm pregame, 5pm first pitch.
