CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Lamoure A’s led 6-0 after two innings, the Redbirds came back and scored four runs in the bottom of the third inning but it wasn’t enough as Lamoure moves on to defeat the Redbirds of Carrington 12-7 on Wednesday evening in Babe Ruth baseball. Game two of the day and non-counter in the District 6 standings, saw Carrington beat Lamoure 4-2. The four-time defending D6 champs, Lamoure, is now 10-2 overall, Carrington is 3-1 in District 6 and 5-4 overall.

Next up for Carrington will be on Thursday right back in Carrington against fellow D6 team Oakes at 5pm at Carrington City Park.
