JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A 25 year-old man is facing several charges after an aggravated domestic assault in Stutsman County on July 6th.

Bryan Kasey Leyva is facing two charges of domestic violence and one charge of terrorizing. The criminal complaint alleges that Leyva impeded the air or blood flow to the victim’s brain or lungs and threatened to kill them.

One domestic violence is a class C felony and is punishable by up to 5 years imprisonment and/or a $10,000 fine. A charge of terrorizing is also a Class C felony punishable by up to five years imprisonment and/or a $10,000 fine.

The other domestic violence count is considered a misdemeanor.
