VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Mayor Dave Carlsrud administered the oath of office to new police officer Ian Jacobson just before a city commission meeting on July 8th.
Valley City Police Chief Phil Hatcher said Officer Jacobson is a native of San Antonio, Texas.
Hatcher said two more police officer candidates are pending before the police department will be fully staffed later this year.
