JAMESTOWN, N.D. (Wimbledon Newsletter) – Farmers Union Insurance (FUI) and its partner, National General Insurance, announced that it will be making extra donations to nonprofit organizations in a number of communities the companies serve.

“We know there is an immediate need on the ground to support nonprofit organizations that provide services to the communities we serve,” said Mark Anderson, chief executive officer of FUI. “We are stepping up our efforts to help strengthen communities and bolster morale during this uncertain time.”

Farmers Union Insurance agents throughout North Dakota and Utah were given an opportunity to nominate the nonprofit of their choice to be considered for one of 15 planned donations. Wimbledon Child Care Center in Wimbledon was nominated by FUI agent Neil Johnston and was selected to receive $2,000.

“Our intent is to strengthen our resiliency as a community through these donations,” said Kevin Ressler, chief sales, marketing & brand officer. “We’re stronger together.”

The Wimbledon Newsletter reports that the daycare is celebrating it’s 3rd Year Anniversary this week.
