FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Fargo Davies used a balanced offense to pick up a straight set win over Valley City in Eastern Dakota Conference volleyball Thursday night at the Eagles Gym.

Davies won 25-11, 25-13, 25-17 to improve to 7-4 overall and 4-3 in the EDC.

Grace Solberg led the Eagles with nine kills, 11 digs and three blocks. Ava Wild and Olivia Marcil each added eight kills, while Justice Thilges tallied a team-high 15 digs. Taylor Safranski dished out 15 assists.

Valley City was led by Jadyn Dieterle with six kills. Lexi Leroux and Peyton Pederson had three each. Dylann Diegel added eight assists.

The Hi-Liners fall to 3-2 overall and in the EDC. They travel to Grand Forks to take on Central on Monday night.
