JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Just a few weeks after increasing the COVID-19 risk level to moderate for Stutsman County, Governor Doug Burgum has returned the county to a low risk level.

The announcement came following Governor Doug Burgum’s press briefing Thursday.

Burgum stated Richland and Stutsman County were both being lowered to the Low Risk Level, or green level.

With that, some counties have seen an increase in activity and have increased their risk level from “new normal” to green or “low risk”. These include LaMoure, McIntosh, Nelson, Pembina, Rolette, Traill, and Walsh counties.

Burgum added that some other counties have moved from “low risk” to “moderate” including Bottineau, Dickey, Eddy, Logan, McHenry, Ramsey, and Sioux counties.

Other counties have remained the same in the “moderate” risk category including Barnes, Cass, Burleigh, Morton, Sargent, and others.
