CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Carrington City Council met via Zoom meeting on Monday, October 12th to discuss several city items.

Mayor Tom Erdmann reports that during the meeting, they had a public hearing through the South Central Regional Council for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application for the Main Street Project.

The Erdmann says after scoring the businesses, three were named finalists to receive the funding for improvements.

Further discussion on the grant funding is expected later this year.

Mayor Erdmann was on KDAK AM 1600 and spoke of many other reports including the Fire Department, Finance & Legal, Airport, Public Works and more.
