VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The final phase of the 5th Avenue Northwest reconstruction project has been suspended for winter.

City Administrator Gwen Crawford said the roadway was opened to local residents on October 21st. She said permanent signage will be placed along the road the week of October 26th and the roadway will open to the public shortly after the signage work is completed.

She said temporary gravel surfacing will be placed on sidewalks that have not been completed. Final construction work will be completed late spring/early summer in 2021.
