trunk-or-treat-2

MEDINA, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – It’ll look slightly different, but the community of Medina will once again be holding their Trunk-or-Treat on Halloween Saturday, October 31st.

Organizer Bonnie Hofmann they’ve adjusted the event for COVID-19, but plan to hold it as they usually do with some slight changes.

Hofmann says they’ve teamed up with area businesses to also distribute a free sack lunch from Reister Meats to all participants. She says right now they’re welcoming anyone who would like to bring a trunk and distribute candy to reach out.

She pointed out that trunk-or-treating events are a safe way to host little trick-or-treaters, but also allows those who live out in the country to participate in the holiday.

There will also be a scavenger hunt and prizes for the best decorated trunk this year. If you’d like to participate, you can contact Bonnie Hofmann at 701-226-5095.

There are numerous other drive-thru trick-or-treating events and trunk-or-treats happening in the area. Visit NewsDakota.coms events tab for full details and locations of area events.
