JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The pandemic has changed the way a lot of events have operated this year, but the team behind Baskets, Bags, & Bubbly have faced the challenge head-on.

RSVP will once again host the annual “fun”raiser on Friday, November 20th, but will do so virtually. RSVP/Jamestown Volunteer Center is a non-profit clearing house for community volunteering. Volunteers help with home delivered meals, mobile food pantries, sorting donations, blood drives, Daily Bread, used bookstore and so much more around the Jamestown area.

Emcee Tara Kapp says in a typical year, there was never any need to advertise the fundraising event, which sells out every year.

Kapp says because of the capacity restrictions, they’ve gone to an online format.

Because the event is not being held physically, Kapp says they’ll use social media as their platform to livestream the event. Those interested can visit one.bidpal.net/basketsbags2020 and register. Once you’re registered, you can start bidding on items right away. All funds raised will benefit RSVP/Jamestown.

Participating in the event will raise funds for RSVP/Jamestown while raising local awareness of volunteers and the benefits they contribute to a strong community that works together.

For more information on the event, visit bidpal.net/basketsbags2020 or like and follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
