CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – During the month of November, hospice and palliative care programs across the country are brought into focus.

November is National Hospice & Palliative Care Month. This year, the theme is “It’s About How You Live.” Cindy Willey, Social Worker and Bereavement Coordinator for CHI Health & Home Hospice, says she works with hospice care the most.

Willey says in this care, they see many patients and families experience more meaningful experiences together.

Willey says anyone can make a referral for hospice service and staff will provide information and answer questions. She says they will then assist getting information and certification for the service.

Willey added that care doesn’t stop at end of life for their patients.
