CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Carrington Daily Bread is in desperate need of volunteers.

Carrington’s Daily Bread organizes the collection of food donations and distribution to those in need. Most non-profit hunger relief organizations like Carrington’s Daily Bread rely on volunteers and donations from people with big hearts that don’t want anyone in need to go hungry.

Anna Grenz with Carrington Daily Bread says their organizations runs long hours on strictly volunteers.

Grenz added that COVID-19 has made volunteering difficult.

The organization operates Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Grenz says they have added precautions during the pandemic to keep themselves, their volunteers, and the public safe.

Grenz added that its very easy to be a volunteer for Carrington’s Daily Bread.

With holiday’s fast approaching, Grenz says their services is more important as ever. She says there are no requirements for those to get food assistance through Carrington’s Daily Bread.
