Minnesota Corn Growers Association

The Minnesota Corn Growers Association (MCGA) announced last week its January annual meeting will be held entirely online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Normally held during MN Ag EXPO in Mankato, the meeting will join the annual trade show in moving to an all-virtual format.

MCGA will hold its virtual annual meeting and delegate sessions the morning of Wednesday, Jan. 20. Voting delegates will register with MCGA, and additional log-in and dial-in information will be forthcoming.

“MCGA’s annual meeting has always been a time for us to get together while advancing the mission of our organization. I am saddened we won’t have that opportunity this year as we take the necessary precautions to maintain our health and safety,” MCGA President Tim Waibel said. “With that, I know we will make this year’s annual meeting a valuable experience, and I hope more members than ever take advantage of the virtual format and attend.”

The Minnesota Soybean Growers Association annual meeting—also typically held during MN Ag EXPO—will also be held virtually this year. For future updates on the MCGA annual meeting and virtual MN Ag EXPO, subscribe to Leader Update, MCGA’s free weekly e-newsletter.
