JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the name of the driver who died following a one-vehicle rollover crash near Medina on Sunday afternoon.

61-year old Harlan Vining of Jamestown died as a result of his injuries when the 2008 Chevrolet Silverado he was driving rolled in a ditch off I-94 in Stutsman County near mile marker 231.  Vining partially entered the median of I-94 as the trailer began to fishtail, then overcorrected, and entered the North ditch as he was traveling on I-94 causing the vehicle to overturn.  The road was wet and contained scattered ice during the time of the accident.  Vining was ejected from the vehicle and was transported to Jamestown Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
