CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Foster County Public Health reports that the county is in the top 10 when it comes to vaccine distribution in North Dakota.

Public Health Administrator Director Lisa Hilbert reports they will finish administering second doses for healthcare workers and emergency responders.

Hilbert says the county remains at the top for vaccines administered compared to other counties in the state.

Hilbert adds they need to list those who wish to receive the vaccine so they can contact them when they’re ready. After, the county will move to the next age group.

While vaccinations continue, Hilbert says they hope residents will continue to follow social distancing practices, wearing a mask, and staying home when they’re sick.

Matt Paulson of Carrington Drug says residents are encouraged to see if they meet the criteria for the next round of vaccinations.

Paulson added that residents can follow local media for continued updates and accurate information.
