FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jadyn Dieterle and Peyton Pederson combined to outscore Fargo North as Valley City picked up a big 59-34 win over the Spartans in Eastern Dakota Conference Basketball.

The Hi-Liners got off to a great start, they outscored North 23-10 in the first half on the way to their sixth win in the last eight games.

Dieterle scored 18 points and had five rebounds. Pederson added 17 points and a team high eight rebounds.

Grace Miller led the Spartans with 12 points. Julia Steiner chipped in 10.

Valley City is now 9-9 overall and 7-11 in the Eastern Dakota Conference. North falls to 1-17 overall and 1-16 in the EDC.

The Hi-Liners travel to West Fargo Sheyenne next Tuesday then end the season at home against West Fargo February 25th.
