JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown softball team has moved its Friday and Saturday doubleheaders back one day each to Saturday and Sunday this week due to weather.

The Jimmies, who are currently 25-7 on the year and 8-2 in the GPAC, will play Midland in a doubleheader Sunday starting at 1 pm from Trapper Field. The Warriors are tied with Jamestown for second place in the GPAC at 8-2. Midland was receiving votes in the latest NAIA poll. The Warriors will play a doubleheader at Dakota Wesleyan Friday before heading to Jamestown.

UJ will then play on Sunday against Concordia beginning at 1 pm as well.  The Bulldogs are 20-6 on the season and 6-4 in conference play. Concordia, like Midland, was receiving votes in the latest NAIA poll and makes for a big weekend at home for Jamestown. Game one of the series can be heard on Jamestown 107.1 and game two will air on Q101 at approximately 3 pm.
