VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NDSU Extension) – On May 29-30th, Kerry Kuhn from Medicine Lodge, Kansas came to the Valley City Winter Show building to present his Kerry Kuhn Horsemanship youth clinic for 17 area 4-H members. 

He worked with the youth AND their parents.  He stressed safety of the youth with their horses and showed them a lot of great tips on how to achieve that.  There were two full days of learning and working with him.  15 of the riders were Stutsman County 4-H members.  This was a learning event that was hosted by the Stutsman County 4-H Horse Committee and paid for by the individuals. 

The Valley City Winter Show building was the perfect place to have this event, and the staff were extremely helpful.  Thank you to the NDWS for the support they show 4-H and the youth of the area.
