Jamestown, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Downtown Association held the 6th Annual Rods & Hogs and Things that go VROOM!! Saturday, June 12th on 1st Avenue Jamestown.

The event featured Classic Cars, Trucks, Bikes and Rat Rods as well as displays by Jamestown Drag Racing Association, Jamestown Mystics, Stutsman Harley Davidson, Dales Auto Mall and More, Jamestown Motorsports Inc, and Twisted Times Motorsports.

Lynn Lambrecht, President of the Jamestown Downtown Association said, “Many thanks to our judges, Kevin Miller, Jerry Hieb, and Dan Koropatnicki. And to all participants, committee members and attendees. Special thanks to Jamestown Tourism. We could not have asked for a more perfect summer day in ND to enjoy the 2021Rods & Hogs and Things that go VROOM!”

The Best Bike Trophy and $200 Cash, sponsored by the Stutsman Harley Davidson went to Shawn Erdahl with his 2005 Harley Davidson Electra Glide. 2nd place and $100 cash went to Darin Hust and his 2021 Harley Davidson Road Glide Limited and 3rd place and $50 cash to Jon Greenstein’s mini-bike.

The Best Truck Trophy and $200 Cash, sponsored by Wilhelm Chevy, Buick, GMC and S & R Truck Plaza, was awarded to Keith Veil and his 1953 Ford F100. 2nd place and $100 cash to Aaron and Amy Nogosek’s 1976 Chevy C10 and 3rd place and $50 went to Kent Simonson and his 1969 “Shag” Ford Van.

The Best Car Trophy and $200 Cash, sponsored by Dales Auto Mall and More was presented to Neal Klein with his 1930 Ford Model A Sedan. 2nd place and $100 cash went to Gordon and Susan Lucht and their 1955 Chevy 210 and 3rd place and $50 to Craig Headland with his 1967 Chevelle SS Convertible.

The Best Rat Rod Trophy and $200 Cash, sponsored by West End Hide, Fur and Metal and Kleins Collision Center was judged to Terry Hook and his 1938 Ford Pickup. 2nd place and $100 cash went to Mike Oster and his 1934 Olds 3 Window Coupe and 3rd place and $50 to JR Lange and the RDTOAD, a 1952 Jeep Willys Wagon.

Finally, the Dick Dauer Memorial People’s Choice Award, sponsored by RM Stoudt Ford, Lincoln, Dodge, Jeep and the Jamestown Classic Car Club was awarded to Jaidyn Edinger and her 1970 VW Beetle (Herbie).
