MINOT, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota State Fair kicks off Friday, July 23rd in Minot.

State Fair Manager Renae Korslien said there are some new attractions on several free stage shows. Another show includes sword swallowing and man breathing fire. Fish in the ND Game and Fish Department pond. Go back in time to the Fur Traders Rendezvous. The 4-H and FFA exhibits are in the ND State Fair Center.
