JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – It was a successful breakfast served up by the Jamestown Fire Department during Buffalo Days on Saturday, July 24th.

Cancelled in 2020, Jamestown Fire Chief Jim Reuther said they wanted to forego the tickets they normally sell prior to the event and turn it into a free-will donation.

Reuther stated they were excited to bring it back in 2021 as a free-will donation and for residents to come and see the new ladder truck.

While nothing is planned yet, Chief Reuther says they’re still considering an event to thank all the sponsors and community members who made the ladder truck possible. For those who missed the pancake feed and ladder truck, he says they’ll be at National Night Out in McElroy Park on August 3rd.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Jamestown Police, Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Fire Department, and many other departments will be present for the free event.
