JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Ave Maria Village will be returning their 7th annual Family & Friends Fun Walk on Saturday, August 7th.

The walk invites family, friends, and residents to walk the path behind Ave Maria Village in the Northwest part of Jamestown. Last year due to the pandemic, the event was held strictly as a virtual event.

Development Director Annie Hancock says this year, they’re excited to bring the event back in a hybrid form.

Hancock says the event is a leisurely way to get active and involved with Ave Maria Village.

The walk will go around the Ave Maria Village loop and walks are encouraged to walk as much as they’d like.

Those who join virtually are asked to take a picture and tag Ave Maria Village’s Facebook page or email it to annie.hancock@smphs.org.

The cost to participate is $15 for over 65 and $20 for adults. Children 12 & under can participate for free. Cost of registration includes a t-shirt.

Hancock added they’re grateful for all the support they’ve received in the past.
