Beverly Joann (Buxbaum) Diegel, age 77, went home to be with her Lord on September 8th, 2021. A celebration of her life will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Glendive, MT on Saturday, September 18th at 10:00 AM with visitation one hour prior.

Beverly was born on July 31, 1944 in Glendive, Montana to Jacob and Viola (Bostrom) Buxbaum. She grew up on the farm on Cracker Box Route and attended school in Glendive, graduating from DCHS in 1962.

She met the love of her life, Derrell Diegel at a high school dance. They married on November 25, 1962. They were blessed with three children: Karleen, Paul, and Shelley. Beverly worked for the ACS office as well as County Agent in Dawson County prior to moving to Houston, TX for a short time. They returned to Glendive, where Beverly focused on raising their family. Beverly and Derry moved to Baker, MT in 1985. Beverly started working at the Fallon Medical Complex where she stayed until her retirement.

Beverly and Derrell moved to Valley City, ND in 2004. She enjoyed spending time at the lake, watching her grandchildren’s activities, and stopping at every garage sale she could. She had a love of shoes and scarves. Beverly never missed the opportunity to tell her family, “See ya when I see ya, love ya while I’m gone.”

Beverly is survived by her husband, Derrell, her children: Karleen Diegel O’Connor of Houston, TX., Paul (Tanya) of Valley City, ND., and Shelley (Johnny) Seales of Houston, TX.; grandchildren: Jordan (George) Marin, Remington Robinson, Danica (Vanessa) Johnson, Dierra, Derrek, and Dylann Diegel, Johnny Jr., Montana and Manning Seales; siblings: Jerry (Donna) Buxbaum, Doug (Glenda) Buxbaum, Janet (Jerry) Sims, and Marlene (John) Martinez. She is also survived by very dear friends, Aase and Bob Stoltz.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Jacob and Viola, her brother, Donald Buxbaum, sister Shirley Ronshaugen, and other special family members.

Silha Funeral Homes of Glendive and Oliver-Nathan Funeral Chapel of Valley City are in charge of arrangements. Memorial’s will be directed towards various food programs.
