OAKES, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Oakes Police Department is notifying the public about a high risk sex offender moving within Oakes.
Kelly Tanner is moving from 33 Main Ave to 211 North 6th St.
Tanner was assessed as a Level III HIGH-RISK offender by the North Dakota Sex Offender Risk Assesment committee. High risk offenders require a lifetime registration on the sex offender list and are contacted every 30 days to verify their status.
Tanner has a conviction for Sexual Assault in 2008 and Gross Sexual Imposition in 2003. Both cases involved juveniles.
