HUNTER, N.D. (NDHP) – A Devils Lake man and woman died from injuries suffered in a three vehicle crash on North Dakota Highway 18 south of Hunter, North Dakota on Saturday, September 25th about 2:46pm.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol said a Suburban was northbound on ND Highway 18 and waiting to make a left turn into a private driveway. A Hyuandi was southbound at this same location when a Silverado rear ended the Suburban. The Suburban was pushed into the southbound lane and struck the Hyuandi head on. Both occupants of the Hyuandi were killed in the collision with the vehicle coming to rest in the west ditch. The Suburban came to rest on its side on ND 18.

One of the juvenile passengers was taken by Sanford AirMed to Sanford Hospital in Fargo. Their condition has not been released. The other Suburban occupants were transported by Ambulance to Fargo. The Silverado came to rest in the east ditch with the driver suffered minor injuries. All vehicles were totaled. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP.)
