GRAND FORKS, N.D. (NWS) – Tornadoes in October are rare, but two were reported in southeastern North Dakota on Wednesday, October 13th. One about five miles west of Stirum, ND and another north of Wahpeton.

National Weather Service (NWS) Meteorologist Austin Perroux said investigators will determine if these unofficial reports can be confirmed and if there was any damage caused by these storms.
