JAMESTOWN, N.D. (CVHD) – Central Valley Health District (CVHD) is continuing to receive calls and questions in regard to Moderna and Johnson & Johnson booster vaccinations.  CVHD is currently only providing Pfizer COVID-19 booster doses at this time.

“We are waiting for more information from the Department of Health regarding booster doses for Moderna and Johnson and Johnson,” explained Robin Iszler, Unit Administrator.  “We will be receiving more information from them [NDDoH] on the proper dosage for the boosters for Moderna and J&J and how to safety mix-and-match vaccine in the near future.”

While Moderna and Johnson & Johnson manufacturers have been authorized emergency use authorization by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for booster doses for those 18 years and older, CVHD is waiting for the proper guidance from the NDDoH for the administration of the booster vaccinations.

CVHD will need time to order and receive an appropriate allocation of vaccine prior to beginning administration.  CVHD will announce when they are ready to begin administering the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson booster doses.

All available COVID vaccination clinics are available on the CVHD website.  To register for an appointment, visit the www.centralvalleyhealth.org/covid-vaccine/.
