JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – While the new year is more than two months away, the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce is already excited to celebrate the successes of 2021.

The chamber holds their annual banquet in January to recognize businesses and individuals who have helped the chamber in their own efforts and see the good it brings to the community. Executive Director Emily Bivens says they already have the date set for next year for the 91st Annual Banquet.

Bivens says they also have several big award that are given out each year during the banquet.

While the Business of the Year is selected out of the Business of the Month award recipients of 2020, Bivens says their main need right now is nominations for Young Professional of the Year, Above and Beyond, and Citizen of the Year.

Bivens says they will be accepting nominations for these awards through December 6th. You can visit jamestownchamber.com and submit your nomination.

The Jamestown Chamber of Commerce is also seeking businesses and organizations to join their Loyal to Local Passport program that will encourage shopping local during the holiday season.

Bivens added the deadline to become a participating member is November 5th.
