JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Volunteers and donors continue to add to the successful mission of the North Dakota Orphan Grain Train (OGT).

OGT is a 501c3 nonprofit Christian volunteer network that shares personal and material resources with needy people in America and in 68 countries around the world. Volunteers gather donations of clothing, medical supplies, food, Christian literature, and other aid to meet real needs.

In their latest update, the North Dakota OGT thanks the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League for helping donate, sort and pack school, hygiene, and layette kits along with 8,000 Mercy Meals.

Other agencies helping with donations, packing and sorting include groups from Litchville-Marion and McClusky. Others include the Buffalo City Church, UJ Boys basketball team, ND Leadership Group, and Girl Scout Troop 30694.

Supplies that are in greatest need include bath towels, washcloths, cloth diapers, large safety pins, baby sleepers (newborn-12mos) toothbrushes, combs, and rubber or swimmer pants. The organization is also accepting furniture, bed pillows, pots and pans, dishes, and beds both new and used.

If you’d like to donate or volunteer, contact North Dakota Orphan Grain Train at 701-320-3875 or 701-320-3259. Financial support is also accepted with checks made payable to:
